Privacy Policy — Add Anything

Add Anything (“the extension”) lets you inject custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into web pages you choose, either on all sites or on sites matching URL patterns you define.

Data collection

Add Anything does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. It has no analytics, no remote servers, and makes no network requests of its own.

Data storage

The only data the extension stores is what you enter yourself in its side panel:

• Rule names
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript snippets you write
• URL match patterns and the “all pages” / “specific URLs” setting
• Whether each rule is enabled

This data is saved using the chrome.storage.local API, which keeps it only on your own device. It is never sent to the developer, to any third party, or to any external server.

Permissions

• storage — saves your rules locally on your device (see above).
• scripting — applies your saved CSS and JavaScript to the pages you’ve configured, and removes them when no longer applicable.
• host permissions (all sites) — required so that your rules can run on the specific sites (or all sites) you choose, since the extension only knows which page it’s on at the moment it runs.
• sidePanel — displays the extension’s rule editor in Chrome’s side panel.
